Welcome to Melrose School

 

Melrose is a community special school that provides for pupils with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD) between the ages of eleven and sixteen years. Many of these pupils also have associated learning difficulties which are wide ranging in terms of severity.

Achievements

Early exam passes for Melrose students

 

Well done to four students who have passed their Level 1 ICT qualification, three of them in year 10.

 

Duke of Edinburgh Award soldiers on

 

Despite very difficult weather conditions, four students completed their D of E practice expedition.  All is set for the real thing.

 

Highest ever achieving student receives award

 

Jake was nominated by Melrose School for being the highest attaining pupil in the history of the school, gaining a total of fifteen qualifications, including GCSEs and a level 2 Diploma in Engineering. He is now enrolled on a level 3 Engineering course.
